In the news today, is a video of MARILYN MONROE smoking – what appears to be – a joint. The clip is silent; a home video shot 50 years ago that shows her with friends and fantastically happy. Whether or not it actually is marijuana, MARILYN is stilly a sassy, ballsy lady and we salute the stoner spirit on display.

Here is where we shall talk about the kind of posts that we’ll be writing about marijuana. Hopefully we can talk both about the intellectual considerations, as well as addressing the classic stereotypes (which are, of course, based in some truth). If the balance can’t be struck, we’ll be forced to re-evaluate and maybe do a 2:1 post ratio in favor of more intellectual discussions.
